My name is Matt and I'm a technical writer, copywriter, and all around textsmith. The chief advantage I bring to any organization is that I can create documentation that users can understand and marketing collateral that technical decision makers can use.

These days I operate mainly as a technical writer, but I can serve almost any writing need. The path of my career has traversed years of writing and editing across a broad terrain that includes journalism and many kinds of marketing collateral.
As a technical writer, my two-fold aim is to motivate technical decision makers to turn to your organization for solutions and to deliver the information your end users need to make the most of those products and services.

I created this website years ago to advertise my services as a contract copywriter, and even though I'm now employed full-time as a technical writer, most everything here is still valid. If you've been directed here it's probably to pick up my resume or some samples of my work, but feel free to stop by the FAQ and About pages, too. (Note: my documentation samples are too large for download -- I'd be happy to bring them to you personally.)
